OVERVIEW

GebraBit ADS1292R is 3 lead, 2 simultaneous channel sampling, 24 Bit ECG, and respiration sensor Module.

GebraBit ADS1292R needs 2 voltages for both analog and digital supply of ADS1292R. As a result, 2 jumper selector is considered to user select desired supply voltage among 1V8, 3V3, and 5V.

GebraBit ADS1292R offers 2 choices for ADS1292R clock source ; one is ADS1292R Internal oscillator and the other, external, means on board 2.048Mhz crystal oscillator or ‘CLK’ pin. This is achieved by the ‘CLK SEL’ jumper selector. Also ‘EXT  CLK’ jumper demonstrates an external clock source, whether the ‘CLK’ pin or 2.048Mhz  Onboard crystal oscillator.

GebraBit ADS1292R module benefits from ECG and respiration of ADS1292R  sensor due to considered 3.5mm headphone jack female socket. This means any 3-lead ECG cable with a 3.5mm phone jack can meet our requirements.

Another important issue of  GebraBit ADS1292R is that this module is Pin Compatible with GEBRABUS , and users can access all important I/O of ADS1292R. For reading data and configuring the sensor, an SPI interface is required.

This Module carries ADS1292R, are multichannel, simultaneous sampling, 24-bit, delta-sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with a built-in programmable gain amplifier (PGA), internal reference, and an onboard oscillator. The ADS1291, ADS1292, and ADS1292R incorporate all features commonly required in portable, low-power medical electrocardiogram (ECG), sports, and fitness applications. With high levels of integration and exceptional performance, the ADS1291, ADS1292, and ADS1292R enable the creation of scalable medical instrumentation systems at significantly reduced size, power, and overall cost. The ADS1291, ADS1292, and ADS1292R have a flexible input multiplexer per channel that can be independently connected to the internally-generated signals for test, temperature, and lead-off detection. Additionally, any configuration of input channels can be selected for derivation of the right leg drive (RLD) output signal. The ADS1291, ADS1292, and ADS1292R operate at data rates up to 8 kSPS. Leadoff detection can be implemented internal to the device, using the device internal excitation current sink or source. The ADS1292R version includes a fully integrated respiration impedance measurement function.
